However, as soon as I would remove the dot1X configuration from the switch port on which Windows 10 machine is attached, I would get the DHCP assigned to my machine. Windows 10 VM failed to get even DHCP address configured on the PAN Appliance in my network.
I spend 2 days investigating Cisco IOL switch configuration but could not figure it out the problem. That means I was authenticating using local credentials stored on machine. I struck a dead end while configuring that lab that when I try to login to Windows 10 VM and expecting it to get authenticated and authorized via ISE, although I was able to login using my AD credentials but no authentication request hitting the ISE. I am in middle of setting a test lab to verify the dot1x wired authentication using Cisco ISE 2.4 running in ESXi 6.7 running on my Dell blade R610 along with EVE-NG, AD and a Windows 10 VM.
